Throughout my career I’ve been trying to find some type of balance with stretch and mindfulness. Being consistent with Shannon’s work has  helped my body feel more loose and mobile.

 

Being a Cornerback  we workout so much, I needed this. The mindfulness portion or the program really helps because I feel like as athletes we need to pause and work on our mind, It’s just as important as our bodies.

Meet Shannon Watson, RN

Nursing, health care and a science-based approach


Shannon Watson is a Registered Nurse with more than 18 years of clinical experience, including eight years specializing in performance recovery and integrative athletic care. She holds certifications in Progressive Critical Care Nursing, Sports Stretch, Restorative Yoga, Thai Table Stretch, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.

Shannon’s work centers on using stretch therapy, breathwork, and mindfulness techniques to help teams and individuals accelerate recovery, enhance mental performance, and optimize overall health.

 

She has designed and implemented evidence-based protocols for professional athletes and NCAA Division I programs across a range of sports, including women’s tennis, soccer, football, basketball, baseball, and softball.

Her work has been featured in two research publications through the University of South Carolina’s School of Athletic Training, and her virtual recovery programs have been adopted by high school teams nationwide.


She also offers limited travel and consultation services.
